Children photography involves a different approach in people photography. There's a chemistry at work where the photographer has to establish a comfortable rapport with kids where the camera is not an intrusion, where picture taking is enjoyed and where a sense of humour really helps. The camera's comfortable presence can take advantage of those precious moments of spontaneity which just seem to happen with kids. It's a spontaneity which I enjoy and which can be rewarding to the observant eye and the ready hand.
