Niagara Seasons

Southern
Ontario summers make for perfect beach and picnic weather. This
invites tourists to the Port Dalhousie beach or to a leisurely drive along
the Niagara Parkway, all the way to Niagara-on-the-Lake, Niagara Falls
and maybe even Fort Erie. There are a lot of landmarks along the way and
a lot of wineries to stop off at along the Niagara Wine Route.
If you like trees and want to get away from the craft shops for a while,
then Balls Falls may be for you or a little hike along the Bruce Trail
which invites a lot of scenic picture-taking. Google Southern Ontario
Tourism, Tourism Niagara or St. Catharines Tourism for an
itinerary of summer events. These words may also conjure up summer scenes
typical for the Niagara Region: volleyball, lake ontario sunsets, walk
along the pier, lighthouses, sailboats, seadoos, sailing, children, games,
gardens, flowers, butterflies. Southern Ontario is made for summer: "Roll
out those lazy, hazy crazy days of summer, those days of soda and pretzels
and beer!"
