St Catharines OntarioNiagara TourismJohn Hartig PhotographySt Catharines Ontario is known as The Garden City within the Niagara Region. It's in the middle of Niagara Wine Country and serves as a gateway to many other tourist towns like Port Dalhousie, Nigara-on-the-Lake and of course, Niagara Falls. St Catharines' welcome sign is easily spotted off the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW). There are a lot of shops, restaurants, accommodations and things to see for everybody in The Garden City. It's all part of the warmth of Southern Ontario Tourism. Google Additional Resources: st catharines chamber of commerce, st catharines tourism, niagara grape and wine festival, gateway niagara, regional municipality of niagara, niagara life magazine, montebello park, port weller, lock 3, cathedral of st catharines of alexandria, ukrainian orthodox church, sts cyril and methodius, st thomas cathedral. Morningstar Mill, first established in 1872, is located on the south-west outskirts of St. Catharines, and has been a special feature of the community for decades. It is now run by a troop of volunteers who preserve the grounds and the artifacts of the old pioneering mill. Tour Morningstar Gallery |
